Aqualis H2Oil Water Based Timber Finish - Natural - Available in 4 L and 10 L

Aqualis H2Oil Timber is a premium, waterborne self-priming timber finish designed to protect all types of wood surfaces, indoors and outdoors. It deeply penetrates timber fibers to seal and stabilize them, providing excellent durability against weather and sun exposure.

Before application, it's essential to prepare the wood surface thoroughly using Aqualis Timber Clean and Timber Prep to remove oils, tannins, dirt, and contaminants, preventing staining, discoloration, or delamination of the coating. Proper surface preparation includes cleaning, neutralizing, rinsing, drying, and optionally sanding to ensure the best adhesion.

For existing H2Oil coated timber, cleaning with Aqualis Deck Bright is sufficient before recoating. Apply H2Oil using a lamb’s wool applicator, brush, roller, or rag evenly without over-application, which can lead to uneven drying. The finish dries to the touch in about 10 minutes with recoating possible after 1 hour.

With light wear and sun protection, recoating intervals can range from 2 to 4 years. Areas exposed to heavy traffic or direct sunlight may need more frequent maintenance. Regular cleaning with H2Deck Bright helps preserve the finish’s appearance and protection.
