Shipping policy
1. Clear Funds into Our Account
Shopify Payments require 2 working days for clearance. Goods will only be released upon full payment clearance into our account. If payment does not clear into our account for any reason, the release of goods will be withheld until clear funds have been received. We will call you once you have made the payment online. We will also confirm your order, your details and your delivery address to ensure everything in the order details run smoothly.
2. Unloading from Ute or Crane Truck
Our Ute deliveries involve hand unloading, for which our drivers may require assistance, highlighting our commitment to accommodating special requests. We enforce limitations by confining deliveries to driveways or the kerbside, prioritizing the safety of our drivers. Deliveries by crane trucks are subject to the driver's discretion, as we prioritize safety concerns related to fence walls, power lines, and traffic. We kindly request that any special delivery requests be communicated and encourage the submission of a diagram via email to indicate the desired unloading location for timber. Our drivers are dedicated to fulfilling all safe requests. Any tricky access to the property or dirt road access is at the driver’s discretion. Our responsibility is limited to unloading at the curbside only. We shall not be liable for any damage incurred to trees, power lines, or side walls resulting from unloading in restricted spaces.
3. Delivery Dates and Time
Advance Scheduling: Your Key to Timely Deliveries We strive to accommodate specific delivery requests; however, most deliveries are based on our daily run, and we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. It is best to schedule timber deliveries a day in advance to avoid any delays on the day your work starts at the site. If you are unsure about the time, best to call us to confirm prior to ordering.
4. Pick up Timings from Our Yard
Our Pick up Timings are
Monday to Friday : 8am to 2pm
Saturday: 9:30am to 12:30PM

Pick-up is available strictly by prior arrangement, and only upon receipt of a specific email or phone confirmation indicating that your order is ready for collection.
5. Pick up Directly from Suppliers Yard
We may schedule a pick up for you if its urgent from our supplier’s warehouse. Please note, that loading is strictly according to the TMR Guideline
6. Transport Safety Guidelines
Please make sure to refer to the 'Transport Safety Guidelines - Customer Pickups' information linkhttps://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/ for instructions on how to properly load your vehicle at Decking Wood QLD. It is essential that you bring appropriate straps and a cargo net to secure your load before leaving our premises.
Don't overload the vehicle.
Stack lighter loads on top of heavier loads.
Spread the loads out evenly for balanced weight distribution.
Secure and lash the loads properly.
Ensure that the stacking arrangement is stable.
